Dear Dr._______________________,

I recently went online to find information about pain relief options after surgery and I came across a website called AskYourSurgeon.com. On AskYourSurgeon.com I learned about a product called the ON-Q Post-Op Pain Relief System.

ON-Q sounds interesting. This website says it is a pump that provides non-narcotic continuous pain relief for up to five days after surgery and it’s put in place by the surgeon.

I’m concerned about narcotics and their side effects so I would like to ask for the ON-Q Post-Op Pain Relief System for my upcoming surgery because it looks like it will help me recover faster with less pain.

I’m also including some highlights about ON-Q that I got from the website in case you’re not familiar with it. Thank you for addressing my request for ON-Q and for taking care of my pain after surgery and my recovery in the best way possible.
